Another month has ended. Obviously it means we’re getting closer to that most anticipated and likewise the most expensive time of the year – Christmas time. Have you got your home adorned yet?
Living in a country where Christmas is felt in as early as September, I can tell how Filipino homemakers prepare for the holidays. My family for one, never fail to observe Christmas each year in however way possible. Mom will always make sure our house wears some décors and a separate set of curtains with holiday prints on it. Growing up, I’ve also seen her making way for everyone’s gift, wrap them and gather them around under the tree. Yet no tremendous part of it I understand until I became a mother myself and had a family of my own.
It was only three years ago when I first designed a Christmas of my own – meaning putting on my own home decors and preparing holiday meals. Those are the two new additions to my then holiday budget. I used to only shop for gifts but with a family and a place of my own also comes more spending. Good thing featured deals and coupon codes are now in these days – something my Mom didn’t get the chance to avail in some of her holiday years from the past.
It is actually one of the perks I enjoy a lot from working online. The use of coupons and discount codes are what made some of my online shopping experiences worthwhile. And now that the spending season is drawing near, I think I ought to seek as many coupons as I can gather to avoid getting empty handed by the time I’m done with my holiday shopping.
In fact, I am looking to use a whole host of discounts this time and I suggest you guys should too – saves you time and effort instead of hopping from one site to another.
